Book Gold Service

Terms and Conditions

  • For the fastest service, please bring your machine to use before 10am on the day of your booking. 

Fee

  • All machines booked for servicing require a deposit fee of $66 inc GST which will be deducted from the final service charge.
  • The estimate for the Gold service published on the website will not be exceeded without approval by the customer.
  • Cleaning and descaling are not costs covered by Warranty and can be booked as an additional service to repairs. Please be aware that when a machine is opened and inspected as part of a service, unknown underlying faults may be found that require repair. If a fault is found while the machine is still under warranty it will be reported, for the customer to make a claim. If the fault is due to the customer’s misuse (blocked filters etc.) a $66 fee or the cost of repairs will be applied before the appliance is collected.
  • If the customer has not paid the inspection fee upfront and does not wish to go ahead with repairs, the $66 inspection fee must be paid on collection. We require 24 hours’ notice before collecting the unfixed appliance.
  • Any quotation given shall be regarded as an estimate only and subject to correction or alteration at any time. Quotation period is valid for 7 days.

Guarantee

  • All parts replaced and work done are guaranteed for 3 months from the completion of repair, under normal domestic use.

Collection

  • We accept appliances for repairs and service on the condition that the customer agrees to collect them within 60 days from completion. The goods not picked up within 60 days of notification of completion of repairs will become the property of Universal Coffee Teach and sold to recover costs.
  • Unrepaired appliances left for more than 60 days will be disposed of.

Beans

  • Please note that any coffee beans already loaded in the machine will be removed and will not be replaced.

Duty of care

  • Under Australian Law, we have a duty of care to ensure that any appliances returned to customers are safely handled. Under these conditions, if you give us a faulty appliance, we may sever the power cord or dismantle the appliance. If you choose noy yo go ahead with any repairs, your appliance will be returned to you in this state. All the machines are cleaned during the service, however some coffee residues might remain in the group head and tamper assembly, and may need replacement of parts.
  • We may use your contact information to remind you about your next appliance service. We do not provide your details to any other party.
